【りょういく】Why I decide to go to other prefectural Ryouiku.

Good evening, this is lenore!
Today, I want to write about “Why I decide to go to other prefectural Ryouiku.".
At first, I was little bit worried about how to get there (its distance).
But after visiting there and watching the Ryouiku, I decided to go.
Seeing my daughter behaviour through a magic mirror during the Ryouiku.
At the individual Ryouiku facilities I visited,
●Waiting – 「まだ だよ(mada dayo)=not yet 」
●Patience – Maybe this is close to “wait".
●Makaton Signs – Hand gestures to communicate
●Permission – Not doing without permission. To let them know Adults (Parents and teachers) have the initiative.
etc…there were some kind of approach.
They patiently taught the children one by one.
At first, I went into Ryouiku room together and said to daughter “bye" for a moment.
Then, I was out of the room and went into the next room in which I could watch her attitude during Ryouiku through the magic mirror.
This style was so new to me.
And also I felt that I can learn about my daughter well!
Why I felt so is…
Before I visited this Ryouiku, I visited a city’s one which had style of parent-chilid attend.
And there, the parents and the child were together all the time until it was time to leave.
When I knew the all-day-long style, I felt that I couldn’t watch my daughter calmly and learn from her🤔💦
So I had good feeling to the magic-mirror style☆
Positive words from teachers.
Another thing that I liked about the Ryouiku was some positive words from teachers.
To be more specific,
At a city’s Ryouiku : “So your daughter can’t do ◯◯? How about △? That’s a little better… Hmm…Okay, I understand."
At the magic-mirror style Ryouiku: “So, your daughter is having trouble with ◯◯…but she can do a little bit with △△? Wow, that’s great! You have been doing your best!"
Negative words and Positive words…It’s just a small difference in words, but it can make a big difference in the impression.
However, that doesn’t mean they don’t see the weaknesses in the children at all. Their words are really positive, while they also give us concrete measures to try the difficult things.
I found it to be a very good environment for self-affirmation, not only for my daughter but also for me.
After visiting this individual Ryouiku, I thought to myself “She doesn’t have much time to interact with people outside of my family only going to individual type. I may be good for her to look for a small group Ryouiku (not individual)!
So I started looking for a small group Ryouiku.
I’ll write more about this next time!
Thank you very much for reading this article☆
